This verification process also assures rights organizations of the legitimacy of the registration data from UniteSync, facilitating accurate royalty collections and payments.
Only the UniteSync account holder is required to undergo identity verification. You do not need to verify their identities individually if you manage artists or songwriters.
Long-term clients of UniteSync are also required to complete ID verification. This step is vital due to rapid technological changes and is necessary to collect and distribute publishing royalties.
Handling Multiple Accounts: If you have several UniteSync accounts and use the same ID for Verification, Persona might review this for potential issues. Persona retains user data for fraud detection purposes. If you encounter verification problems because of multiple accounts, please contact our Publishing Support team with details for each account.

Post-verification, you will be redirected back to your UniteSync dashboard.
After Verification, Your dashboard will display a ‘Pending’ status following Verification, which typically resolves within 3 to 20 minutes. Refresh the page for updates.
‘Pending’ means the final response from Persona is awaited.
‘Failed’ indicates issues with document or selfie verification. Refer to ‘Failed Verifications’ for further action.
Future Verification Requirements Once successfully verified, you should not need to repeat the process unless requested by UniteSync.

Changes in Personal Details A change in your name or address does not require re-verification. However, inform our Publishing Support team about any change in account ownership.
Failure Reasons and Remedial Actions Verification failures can occur due to mismatches or issues with the clarity of documents or facial recognition in selfies.
